VAN METER POISED TO PURCHASE MINNESOTA-BASED WERNER ELECTRIC

Van Meter Inc., a 50 percent partner in Werner Ventures LLC, the legal entity that owns Minnesota-based Werner Electric, announced today their intent to make a stock purchase of the remaining business from MacDonald Ventures. The sale is expected to close on April 30.

In this year of both extreme challenge and celebrating a century in business, we continue to grow and bring on new, great talent. We welcome Jeff Dutton to the Werner family. Jeff is leading our talented Operations teams, including Production, Logistics and all areas of our Distribution Centers. Jeff’s 30+ years of experience in supply chain positions sets us up well as we continue to grow and scale all areas of our operations. Jeff is transitioning from a 15-year career in supply chain at Best Buy and the last 10 leading their expansive distribution network support team.
