Werner Electric’s Wood Duck Challenge Raises Funds for Ducks Unlimited

The Werner Electric Team based in Cottage Grove, Minnesota hosted a Wood Duck Challenge on Saturday, April 18th in conjunction with Earth Day festivities. Over seventy customers, local residents and employees joined together to build Wood Duck Houses at Werner Electric. The event was sponsored by Philips with all proceeds donated to the local DU Chapter.

All Sixty kits were built and distributed throughout the Cottage Grove and Rochester area. Due to the success of the event, there are already plans to make this an annual community event. All participants will have their pictures in an upcoming issue of Outdoor News Magazine. It’s just another way, Werner Electric is working to make the communities we live and serve in just a bit better.
