Hormel Honors Outstanding Suppliers with Spirit of Excellence Awards

Werner Electric Supply and Van Meter Industrial honored for the fifth consecutive year!

Hormel Foods recently named the 2008 Supplier Spirit of Excellence Awards. This award is given for their roles in the company’s continuous improvement process during the past year. “This award showcases the dedication of each of our suppliers to help Hormel Foods achieve its goal to set our industry’s ‘gold standard’ for quality and product safety,” said Melanie Faust, director of purchasing. “Our Suppliers are held to the highest standards for quality, and the recipients of this award not only provide a high level of customer service and technical expertise in their areas, but they continually propose concepts to help Hormel Foods improve its processes.”
