All material returns must be authorized in writing prior to return and material must be unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition.

Stock Material

Material returned within 60 days No Restock Fee
Material returned within 60 to 120 days 15% Restock Fee
Material returned after 120 days 25% Minimum (Review Required)
(Note: All returns over 120 days must be reviewed by Werner’s Returns Coordinator before return can be approved and credit amount is established.)

In accordance with Rockwell Automation’s Material Return Policy DM-128, dated 9/30/2003, any Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) product returned in marked or open cartons is subject to repackaging charges, plus possible retest charges. Retest charges are as follows: $100 per unit, in addition to normal restocking charges. Any electronic device where the product seal has been broken will be assessed a retest charge. Any other device that Rockwell Automation deems necessary to retest will be assessed the $100 per unit retest charge. Product with a net value of $100 or less will not be retested and will be returned to the customer.

Non-Stock and Special Orders Material

Custom Made-to-Order Material is non returnable.
No returns will be accepted on non-stock items after 180 days from delivery date.
All returns must have previous authorization from factory.
Original order number, date, and reason for return must be provided.
The amount of restocking charges will be determined from the factory upon acceptance.
Credit for non-stock items will be issued after Werner has received approval and credit from the factory.
Handling & restocking charge, plus all freight costs will apply (minimum 10%).

Warranty and Defective Material

Customer or Salesperson must advise Werner Electric of the nature of defect.
Some products are ‘Repair Only” under warranty and can not be returned for credit.
Credit will be issued based on the terms and warranty of the manufacturer.
